How does Bocouture work?
This solution known as botulinum toxin type A, which is the same kind of substance used in the well-known and popular Botox. The medication will temporarily relax the facial muscles, and will then prevent them from wrinkling or creasing the skin. It has been used in medical and cosmetic treatments all over the world for over 20 years, and has a high safety profile with doctors worldwide saying it is highly safe. Bocouture is typically used on fine to moderate wrinkles, particularly the top parts of face smoothening out the wrinkles and lines that appear due to frequent smiles and/or frowns.
Treatment Details
Bocouture should only be applied on patients by qualified medical professionals. The amount and method used will depend on the location and severity of the area to be corrected. For periorbital lines or crow’s feet, the powder is reconstituted and afterwards will be injected bilaterally into three different sites. The first is around 1cm lateral from the bony orbital rim. The other two are then targeted at about 1cm above and below the first injection.
